With its designation as a “UNESCO City of Media Arts,” Linz, like Lyon, Sapporo, Tel Aviv and Dakar, is one of the world’s most forward-looking places and metropolises. These include the Ars Electronica Center with its annual Ars Elektronica Festival, the Tabakfabrik as a creative community, music theater, and the up-and-coming independent scene.

For the perfect city experience, you can choose from three cards: the 1-day card for a short stay in Linz, the 2-day card with an additionally included ticket for the Pöstlingbergbahn (ascent and descent) or the 3-day card, which includes a €5 gastronomy voucher in addition to the Pöstlingbergbahn ticket, which can be redeemed in selected restaurants.

The low-priced City Ticket is available online, at the Tourist Information on Hauptplatz and at selected Linz museums and Linz hotels.
