„Dancing Pina“ – Filmbrunch

Pina Bausch was the grande dame of contemporary dance and founder of the legendary Tanztheater Wuppertal. The documentary „Dancing Pina“ now celebrates the unforgettable choreographer and the people who today approach her work in a completely new way.
The focus is on 2 pieces, 2 continents, 2 dance worlds: the venerable Semperoper in Dresden and the École des Sables in a Senegalese fishing village. Under the guidance of former members of Pina Bausch’s company, dancers from all over the world rediscover the pieces „Iphigenie auf Tauris“ and „Le Sacre du Printemps“.
